Louis is a 2-3 year old male Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog. He needs a new home with large breed/ bull breed experience as his mum has health issues which mean she’s unable to provide the life he needs. He’s absolutely adorable and couldn’t wait to cover me with kisses (& try chewing my nose!) when we met him tonight.
He are told he can be unhappy around some men but today he met one of the team and was very comfortable walking with him so it could be certain men or it could be that he’s being protective of his mum due to her health.
He loves women and children he meets although he’s not lived with children so we think a home with kids 8+. He’s very dog friendly and also loves with a cat so could live with a friendly dog and/or a dog savvy cat (the current cat refuses to be his friend despite his best efforts to get her to play). He travels well, fine to be left for reasonable periods of time and he firmly believes he’s a lap dog.
He’s not getting the exercise he needs at the moment so can pull initially but soon settles. He’s neutered, chipped and vaccinated. Forever homes can be anywhere within the UK but you will need to travel to us in South Yorkshire. As always we require everyone in the family and any children who are regularly going to be in contact with the dog to attend the meet. Our usual process is that you will need to come and meet the dog and that adoption is then done on a second meet.
